For context, read here

"Information from Lalalees Co.

We deeply apologize for causing concern to fans who love BTS for the trademark application for 'Borahae', which we filed in September 2020.

We will inform you that we have decided to abandon the trademark application for 'Borahae; for the development of K-pop.

As Koreans, we hope that BTS will continue to succeed in the world for the development of K-pop."

original post: here

1. These robbers are pretending to be generous ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. This word didn't exist before we made it though. Look at them pretending to be generous... Look at them trying to play this as a beneficial decision and pretending to care about the advancement of K-pop...

3. Bangtan's fans, good job!!!

4. What "development of K-pop"? Where's the shame..... they tried to steal it secretly way before this... f*cking hilarious how they are trying to be generous...

5. Big Hit/HYBE never thought about applying this phrase that V and the fans made for trademark but seeing how another company is trying to mess with it, I wish that they owuld apply ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

6. To be honest, V personally made this phrase for the fans, so if HYBE trademarked it, I'm 100% sure that there would be complaints about how the company is trying to use something that members made for profit. But it's also true that HYBE was a step late. To be honest, the people who are saying that the company is staying still and that they are not doing their work properly, you guys just want to purposely bash the company right? I bet that Big Hit has no plan of trademarking Borahae because if they did, then people would bash them again for using a member's creation commercially
> Huh? Why are you mentioning Big Hit here? So from now on, every special word that idols make during fansigns with their fans need to be trademarked? It would be even weirder if a company trademarked a phrase that's used between the artists and their fans no? No but it's clear that the one who's in the wrong here was that business. Why bring Big Hit and cloud the subject?

7. Seems like noise marketing to me

8. If they trademarked noranghae, chorokhae, paranghae, etc. I would've thought that it was just a coincidence or at least pretend to believe them. But only trademarking borahae? What "coincidence"? They are pretending to be generous. I'll remember this business and never buy from them

9. If Big Hit trademarked this right now, I feel like nobody would hate them and the fans would agree too..

10. 99% of the people who use that phrase are Armys and the remaining 1% are for instances like "they said that you look pretty, go look at the mirror" (T/N: go look = 보라해)
