I did wonder if Yoo Jun Sang's drama came out too early to win it but I personally like that a drama that offered simple laughter and tears won daesang over another makjang style genre that we already know.
5. [+30, -7] How did Nam Goong Min of 'Doctor Prisoner' win nothing... I think the daesang should've been awarded to multiple people instead of all the other awards that were given out as co-awards. KBS really needed to make sure that the proper people won these awards instead of just handing them out and leaving others bare handed.
6. [+23, -2] She deserves daesang. The scriptwriter said she wrote it with Gong Hyo Jin in mind and waited for her movie schedule to finish so she could cast her. Gong Hyo Jin added relatability to her drama with realistic acting and without going over the top. It's a drama that everyone shined in but at the center of it was Gong Hyo Jin as dongbaek.
