K-pop idols are loved by many fans, but they themselves are sometimes big fans of other singers too. Think about it. You are a huge fan of a k-pop idol, and you yourself become a k-pop idol later and see your idol star closely. It's a dreamlike story, huh? Well, here are k-pop idols who realized their dreams.

Sandara Park
Before her debut, Sandara Park was a big fan of Lee Hyori. Here's an episode. In the Philippines, Sandara Park, who was a teenage girl saw Lee Hyori eating melon with appetite and relish on TV, and she thought that melon must be very important food in Korea. So, she brought melons along with her from the Philippines and visited Lee Hyori's house to hand over the present. Sandara Park couldn’t meet Lee Hyori but she handed Lee Hyori's mother melons. Well, eventually, Sandara Park became as popular as Lee Hyori, and they’ve been maintaining good relationship as fellow singers.

SHINee’s Key
Do you know the fact that SHINee's Key was a member of BoA's official fan club “Jumping BoA”? It was 2000 when the fan club was first organized, and Key joined the fan club at the age of 9. After long-term efforts, Key finally became BoA’s label mate. And in 2010, Key sang a duet with the female k-pop star at SMTOWN concert held in Seoul. At that time, Key was filled with emotion and said “I feel really honored to stand on the same stage with BoA”.

MBLAQ’s Mir
MBLAQ's Mir was a huge fan of god. He joined the group's fan club, and went to their concerts to support them. After the concert, He even brought home the water bottles that god members threw away because he liked the members so much. There still are numerous pictures of god members on Mir’s desk.

Highlight’s Lee Gikwang
When he was a middle school student, Highlight’s Lee Gikwang began practicing singing and dancing after watching Rain’s awesome performance. Lee Gikwang dreamed of becoming a k-pop star because of Rain. When Lee Gikwang became a trainee of JYP Entertainment, he finally met his role model. Rain took good care of him, and when Lee Gikwang made a debut as a solo singer in 2009, Rain gave him advice on his costumes and hair style too. Without Rain, Lee Gikwang would not have been able to get to where he is.

Infinite’s Sungkyu
Infinite’s Sungkyu grew up with Nell’s music. The modern rock band belonged to Woollim Entertainment, and Sugkyu took part in Woollim’s audition because he wanted to become a k-pop singer like Nell. And yeah, he realized his dream by passing the audition. In 2012, Sungkyu received a special gift from Kim Jong Wan, the leader of Nell, too. Kim Jong Wan gave Sungkyu his own song as a present, and the song was included in Sungkyu’s first ever solo album.

Girl’s Day’s Minah
Girl's Day's Minah is a long-time fan of TVXQ's Yunho. Minah began to like Yunho when she was a fourth grader in elementary school. She dreamed of becoming a k-pop star because of Yunho. After making a debut, Minah realized her dream by appearing in various TV shows with Yunho. And in 2014, when Girl’s Day released its new song “Something”, TVXQ made a comeback with the song of the same title around the same time, and the two groups competed for no.1 trophies of k-pop chart shows.
