Since debuting as an actress by appearing in "Dream High" in 2011, Suzy has been on a roll. She became "The nation's first love" after appearing in "Architecture 101", and she achieved success with "Gu family book" too. You know, she and Lee Seung Gi were such a good couple. Suzy is an idol singer, but the reason why she could become a super star in Korea was that she gained a complete success as an actress.
But, she's recently experienced a few failures as an actress. Her movie "The sound of a flower" was a box office failure, while her drama "Uncontrollably Fond" was a failure too. A bigger problem was that her acting performance was called into question. She couldn't show satisfactory performance as a seventh-year actress.
So, interest is now on how well she will do in her new drama "While you're sleeping" to begin to air soon. It's Suzy's second pre-produced drama, and she needs to prove that she is a competent actress if she wants to maintain her position as a super star.
