Kim Sejung becomes the first k-pop idol who's chosen as a cover model for Big Issue magazine

Gugudan's Kim Sejung has been chosen as a cover model for Big Issue Magazine May issue.

Big Issue magazine exists to offer homeless people, or individuals at risk of homelessness, the opportunity to earn a legitimate income, thereby helping them to reintegrate into mainstream society. Kim Sejung became the first k-pop idol who's chosen as a cover model for Big Issue magazine, and she did the photo shoot as a talent donation, without getting any money.

Big Issue magazine said "Kim Sejung is loved by men and women of all ages, and we chose her as the cover model because she has bright and positive energy. We're sure every reader will be able to receive a lot of energy from her".

And Kim Sejung stated, "Even though I was not interested in magazines in my school years, I knew about Big Issue magazine. I thank the magazine for giving me a good opportunity to participate in a great project. There are many homeless people in Korea, and we need to pay attention to them. Please remember that our attention can change their lives".
