Army laws state that men 25 and over need permission to leave the country. Each leave must be within six months for a total of five leaves over two years.

1. [+832, -188] They really need to be granted an exemption from service. What makes them any different from soccer players and classical music performers?

2. [+680, -86] All the seniors that used illegal methods like fake college degrees when they never even attended class just to get out of service is coming back to bite them now. I understand that it's the law and that it must be followed but it does make me upset since BTS has done so much for the country too.

3. [+646, -178] Exempt them from the army

4. [+53, -16] So upsetting, not granting them an exemption will be a great loss to the country ㅠㅠ

5. [+48, -12] There was an article yesterday about the effects of BTS on tourism, and they honestly should be granted an exemption or at least let them serve public service... They've done so much that our own country hasn't been able to achieve.

6. [+46, -7] Ballet dancers are granted exemptions if they win awards, why can't BTS be granted one too? It's not like ballet has done anything for the country.

7. [+35, -12] Doesn't BTS deserve an exemption...

8. [+33, -13] Exempt them

9. [+31, -21] Shouldn't they be allowed to postpone their service at least?

10. [+28, -8] I personally feel they deserve an exemption but army service is a duty for all men so I think the backlash will be severe.. Maybe the two members can enlist together and finish their service speedily so they can join the group again for promos.
