He's an ex-member of Madtown but nowadays, he's doing Youtube. I'll write a post about the content of what he talked about.
The Show: They have no freedom in the waiting rooms, they shove all the idols with similar debut dates together in one room
(Crayon pop, Fiestar)
But for rookies, they only use partitions to separate them (aka they have no rooms)
Show Champion: They also use the 2 teams in one room system (for it's possible for 1 team to use 1 room, and rookies also are only separated with partitions)
MCountdown: They don't have freedom in the waiting rooms either, the idols who are famous and who have seniority would use their own rooms in the basement.
The rookies would all be shoved into a auditorium-like room. They don't separate guys and girls, but there would be around 8~9 tents.
Music Bank:(he didn't talk about the waiting rooms here) this is the most exhausting broadcast station. The broadcast is at 5PM, but the rehearsal would start at 5AM.
When it's rehearsal time, they need to stay bareface and their voice don't even have time to recover, the singers have to sit in the audience, it's a big hassle
Music Core: The best environment (he started praising Music Core so much from there) They have beds, sofas, and even showers. The best thing is that they have their individual rooms. The other broadcasts all require the singers to stay until the end to greet the PDs, but for Music Core, this is on a voluntary basis
Beds and sofas at the back
Inkigayo: There's one waiting room on the 1st floor and one on the roof. The people who are on the roof's waiting room needs to take the stairs down for rehearsal... It's tiresome to take the stairs (There are no elevators)
The rookies also use partitions
We only watch their stages for 3 minutes, but the singers have to practice from early in the morning
And the people who have their individual activities need to find spare time to attend those,
There's a music show on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun, rookies must be so worn out
+ when the broadcast ends, they have to stand in a row in the hallway to greet each other
original post: here
1. Now I understand why my bias is always doing their V-live during Music Coreㅋ They must find it the most comfortableㅋ
2. This totally feels like school all over again, it's tiring but also funㅋㅋㅋ
3. MCountdown and Inkigayo's waiting rooms are such a scamㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I had some stuff to do at Inkigayo before and I went to the station, and the waiting room was literally 130 square metersㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ How can they even fit partitions in those rooms..
4. Don't they know that for celebrities, time is gold? Greeting each other is such a waste of timeㅋㅋㅋ
5. Hul why do they need to greet each otherㅋㅋㅋㅋ
6. Speaking of that greeting cultures, PDs even force seniors with lots of years into their debut to do it
7. That's just a culture that people want to pretend to not know... If you look at it positively, it allows the idols to become close to each other whether it's same gender or opposite gender. But I still can't look passed the hierarchical and political plays, it's upsetting
8. It must be such a burden for all the singers to be watching you in Music Bankㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
9. That greeting culture is such a f*cker cultureㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Are they yakuza or something?
10. Greeting each other?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Are they gangsters?
