Q You've finished filming your new movie "Heart Blackened". How do you feel?
Park Shin Hye: I used to play bright and cheerful characters in my TV dramas, but this time, my character, who tries to grasp the truth of what the case is really about and gets into confusion is totally different from the characters I've ever played. I tried really hard to express the character in many ways. I tried to express deep feelings by crying or getting angry.

Q. You played a lawyer again, by the way. You know, you've played a lawyer in "Miracle in Cell No.7" in 2012.
Park Shin Hye: The two characters are different from each other, though. Yeseung, the character in "Miracle in Cell No.7" is not prepared but she reveals the perfect truth. However, Heejung, the character in "Heart Blackened" is not perfect and works haphazardly.

Q. What made you decide to appear in the movie?
Park Shin Hye: It's Choi Min Sik. I thing every actor wants to act with the great actor. At first, I though he must have been very scary. But he was not. He was playful and pleasant. He was the one who livened up the mood at the film spot. He just supported me rather than gave advice to me.

Q. What was it like to act with Ryu Jun Yeol?
Park Shin Hye: Well, I couldn't see him very often at the film spot, but we became close. I think he's a man of versatile talents.

Q. You always play main characters in your TV dramas, but in your movies, you play supporting roles. Is there any reason for that?
Park Shin Hye: People pay money when they watch movies, and I wondered if I was prepared to repay it as an actress. However, I never wanted to end my career as a CF star or Hallyu star, and that's why I began to appear in movies.

Q. It seems many people think you're a kind and nice person, which means some of them may think you're not right for grumpy characters.
Park Shin Hye: Jung Ji Woo, the director of "Heart Blackened" said the same thing. But I sometimes get angry too. When I get really angry, I stay home all day, and I burst into a flood of tears. I want to break the typical image of myself through "Heart Blackened".

Q. You've appeared in many dramas and movies whose themes are hope or justice. Is there any reason for that?
Park Shin Hye: I think the dramas are movies are helpful for people to find justice. I believe that the world is beautiful, and I hope my children will live in a beautiful world.

Q. It has been about 15 years since you debuted. What do you want to do as an actress in the future?
Park Shin Hye: I'm sure there'll be many fun things. Of course, I can't play a high school student any more, haha, but as a woman, as a daughter, and and as a sister, I will be able to deliver a variety of stories to the public.

Q. Are you thinking of getting married?
Park Shin Hye: Many of my friends got married, but frankly speaking, I'm scared about it. Of course, I envy them, but I still wonder if I can live with one person for the rest of my life. So, I put my marriage on the back burner.
