On August 28, a press conference for MBC's new drama "Hospital Ship" was held in Seoul, while CNBLUE's Kang Minhyuk attended the event as the leading actor of the drama. You know, Kang Minhyuk has appeared in some dramas such as "My husband got a family", "Heirs" and "Tantara" since he debuted in 2010, and he is considered as one of the most competent idol actor.
So, at the press conference, he was asked how he thinks about people's prejudice against idols because there still are some people in Korea who think of idols' appearance in dramas negatively. Check out what he talked about it.
It's been a long time since I started acting, and recently, I thought little about it. You know, there are many idols who appear in their dramas these days. Production crew cast the idols, and there must be some reasons for it. And I think we should respect the choice. Of course, I know idols have to prove themselves through their dramas even if they're very famous and popular. What I want to ask viewers is please believe them. And personally, I'm happy I can act with Ha Jiwon through my new drama. I never feel uncomfortable with her because she's very kind and nice to me. When we talk, we get each other, and she takes good care of me, instead of trying to teach me.
